The Chinese Gardens are located on Darling Harbour in Sydney. These gardens were my favorite thing to see. Even better than the Opera House. The Gardens, a gift from the Chinese to Australia, is only $2 to get into. The art work and statues are breath taking but the best were the benches that face Asian temples and waterfalls. I could have sat and looked for hours in here. A paradise in the middle of a huge city.
If you are in the tourist mood, you can pick a spot and have your photos taken in the gardens in authentic Chinese garb. Well worth it. And if you are looking for Olympic items, this is located right across from the Convention Center which will house wrestling, weightlifting and a few other events. This is a must see.
