2 medium Turnips, chopped
3 cups Water, bring to a biol
1/4 cup Cream
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp lemon juice
4 Peppercorns, crushed
2 dashes Sea salt, to taste
Bring enough water to cover the turnips to a boil. Cut the turnips into cubes
and boil with salt, peppercorn, about 15 minutes in a covered saucepan. Mash the turnips
with fork or put into a food processor or blender. Add butter and put back on heat to a
simmer until liquid is absorbed. Add lemon juice. This turned out more like soup. It
was fantastic though.

We were not familiar with turnips. They sort of taste like a cucumber and a radish mix. I sort of think it taste like horseradish. I will cut them thin and sate them next week. We will see how it turns out.
