Turkey Chilli

Equipments Crockpot; Garlic Press; measuring cups; measuring spoons; Nonstick Skillet

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb Turkey, ground
1/2 lb Chorizo sausage
3 tbsp Chili powder
1 1/2 tsp Cumin, ground
1 tsp Jalapeno salt
1/2 tsp Cilantro
1 medium Onion, finely chopped
2 medium Jalapeno, seeded and chopped
3 medium Chilpotle Peppers in Adobe Sauce, finely chopped
3 cloves Garlic, minced
14 oz Tomato, drained and diced
6 medium Tomatillas, (have them at Walmart) roughly chopped
4 cups Chicken broth
1 oz Lime Juice, juice of 1 lime
Preparation
1. Using a non-stick pan, brown the turkey and sausage. Once browned, set aside or toss right into your crockpot.

2. Chop up all your veggies. Starting with the onions, put into your non-stick and saute with the liquids left behind by your meat. Then add your two peppers, your spices. Once the peppers and onions are mixed and soft, add to your crockpot.

3. Add the rest of the your ingredients into the crock. Turn on low and let simmer all day long.

Note
If you would like, you can add northern white beans into the crock about an hour before serving.
