Maria Pash

Recipe By Garth Lamson
Category Atkins; Beverages
Main Ingredient Raspberries
Cuisine Style Lower Alabamian
Yield 4 Serving
Preparation Time 5 min
Cooking Time As long as it take to make ice. :-)
Equipments Ale Glass; Blender or Food Processor; Measuring Cup; Measuring Spoons; Saucepan; small bowl

Ingredients

RASPBERRY SYRUP

3 oz Raspberries, liquifide
1 medium Lemon Juice, Juice of 1 Lemon
2 tbsp Splenda
2 tbsp Water

DRINK INGREDIENTS

1 oz Vodka, full jigger
1 1/2 oz Raspberry Syrup, jigger and a half
1 handfull Ice cubes
6 oz Soda Water, (just fill to the top..not sure about 6 oz)
Preparation
1. Using food processor or blender, throw the raspberries in and blend till smooth. Pour contents into sieve and press through. This will get rid of those pesky seeds.

2. In a saucepan over low heat, heat the raspberries, the lemon jiuce and the Splenda. Dabble with your ingredients. I put in a bit fo water to thin it for my drink but you do not have to. The lemon jiuce brings out the flavors of the raspberries.

3. In an ale glass, add the vodka, the syrup, then the ice. Then fill to the top with Soda Water. Another option would be to use a bit of lime jiuce or use a diet carbonated lemon drink.

Drink with friends. :-)
