Mount Buckhorn, Colorado North Cheyenne Canyon & High Drive

MtBuckhorn (61 images)
Mount Buckhorn is a mountain summit in El Paso County in the state of Colorado (CO). Mount Buckhorn climbs to 8,360 feet (2,548.13 meters) above sea level. Mount Buckhorn is located at latitude - longitude coordinates (also called lat - long coordinates or GPS coordinates) of N 38.800268 and W -104.903308. I loved this trail. The views were amazing and the hike was a challenge but not to much that I could not bring friends. I know it is listed as a very hard bike path, we hiked it. At the top of the trail, I suggest that you continue, off the trail, up to the top. You can look to the North to see Bear Creek area, and someone has put a fire ring together so you are facing to the East overlooking our great town of Colorado Springs. This hike is on the Captain Jack loop. If you are feeling full of energy, you should get a map and do the whole 7.2 mile loop.
