The Day the Rain Came

Alice Spring Flood 2000

The day the rain came. It seems we can say that more often now. I am amazed that I lived in a New England winter ridden state in the United States and I came to the outback desert to see a flood.

Well, here it is, the wind came, and the rains fell. The bridges were bent and the roads were covered. I believe the final word was 14 inches in 4 days.
