Cherry Creek National Park is in surrounded by a highway, city scape in the far distance, Walmart over yonder. All the reasons it should be horrid. But it is not. They have succeeded in making a tranquil park for hikers, horse back riders, boat enthusiasts, and even dog walkers. I did not get to see this today but it has a shooting range and a romote control car and plane area. This has been the best $6.00 we have spent in Colorado.
